Spring shopping haul

Here I am!!! Miss me?

I admit I haven't got anything interesting going around these days and, with the Easter Holidays I dropped off the face of the net to do some resting and gaming. My gamer persona itches when she hasn't played in a while. And I have so many games I haven't finished. So Internet life comes second hohoho~

Anyway, this past Saturday I found myself at Golden Hall, the most luxurious mall in Athens (that has been awarded the best mall in Europe award apparently). Half of the stores there are of those super expensive fashion brands but there are affordable stores as well.

They had this 140th anniversary of Shiseido event going on. I brought my camera but forgot to take pictures argh!!! >< And when we were at Ben & Jerry's for some ice cream I bumped into a celebrity (Spiros Soulis, the guy who presents the Greek edition Extreme Makeover:Home Edition) but me, being me, of course didn't even realise who he was and I pissed him off because I took my time choosing the ice cream while he was, apparently, in a hurry. Whatever dude, just because you're famous you don't have to act all high and mighty... On a sidenote this has happened again with every celebrity I happen to bump into. I NEVER REALISE WHO THEY ARE/WERE UNTIL SOMEONE TELLS ME! OTL I am the only person in the planet who won't recognise Madonna or Obama even if they were sitting next to me.

But.... enough with the blabbering and on to the pics of the haul! Muahaha~ I gott quite a lot of stuff... :3

Navy Blue Pants from Zara. Seeing as I'm in love with the nautical style I needed them to complete my Navy wardrobe. I also have a thing for colorful pants. I also have light pink, red, yellow, electric blue and white pants. I want baby blue and light green ones as well.

Navy style bracelets from Stradivarius. I was eyeing them since the last time I went to one of their stores and I caved in and bought them. Will be perfect for navy/pin up coordis!

A classic piece from Zara. Besides navy/pin up style this one is perfect for other styles as well. Last year in Korea half of the girls in the street were wearing a blouse similar to this one.

Two simple tops that I bought to wear together with a blouse I got from BSB but I haven't had the chance to snap a photo of. Besides it wouldn't look good cause it's white. It just has holes in the shape of a skull with butterfly wings and when worn with a simple tank top like these it looks great. Shall make a coordi with it!

YAY! I finally have summer boots!!! :D I am a boots lover and I wish I could wear them all year round. These are made of very light materials and can be worn during the summer. Score baby!!! <3 I mean sandals are nice too but boots... hoo boy! *_* These are from Tsakiris Mallas (yeah I tend to get most of my shoes from there)

Probably my best buy. I got this in one of the more expensive shops (SOTRIS). The most expensive of the bunch but... it's beautiful... I always wanted a dress like that but alas my breasts usually make them look unflattering on me (stupid big breasts... -.-). But this one... I put it on and it looked beautiful. I even think it made my boobs look smaller (yaaay! I don't get women who get surgery to get monstrosities... why do you want to NOT fit into high fashion + make every top you put on look... um... slutty?). Ah but really it's such a pretty pretty dress! :D

And for going out during the springtime... faux leather jacket from Stradivarius. I love the color cause it can match anything effortlessly. Try imagining it with the dress and boots. Badass and cute. XD

I actually got the dress and hat I had ordered from Japan in the mail the other day but sorry, no pictures for now. Maybe later. The dress is adorable but my boobs stretch the buttons and it need some altering... -.-'

Well, that's all for now folks. I'll be at my village for Easter. Maybe I'll snap some pretty photos for you to see. Maybe not. But until then, bye bye!! :D

Spring has come? How come?

These days I was a grumpy old lady in the sense that I complained about the winter... But Greece, thank you for being Greece, and finally granting us warm spring weather. With the weather like that I take the chance to dress up. Like yesterday... ^^

I wore the pink skull blouse that I wore at the party. Of course, as you will see in the photos, an item of clothing can look very different in different occassions. It's all about how you present it as a whole together with other clothes! ^^

Weird artistic angle. Fail angle. Call it whatever you want but I like it.

Pink skirt is from Terranova and the boots are Dr. Martens. I love them and I want another pair in a lighter color. The reason I chose this green color is kinda embarassing to say... (Hint: it's kpop related)

Side view. Remind me to write a post about how men react to girls that wear short skirts during winter/spring in Greece.

Am I being a diva for not taking off my glasses? I like how they can hide my face that derps half of the time. :P
I tried this angle for the first time. Me likes as well...

Obligatory cam whore pic. Aren't I disgusting? XD

Oh! And on the way back home from the class I passed by Stradivarius and got to behold the lovely marine themed items they had. I am a sucker for the marine style. So glad it's always in fashion during spring/summer! I bought this tee~ and I am waiting for a marine hat I bought from a Japanese fashion store. to arrive at the mail.

Tomorrow I am going to have my hair done. Finally... XD Maybe I will post pics of that! ^^

Wanna know...

Which is the sexiest lingerie brand in the world in my very humble opinion?

Agent Provocateur!

Of course it's also super expensive (I got an expensive taste in clothes so I need to make a lot of money in the future to afford buying them).

According to Wikipedia it was founded by Joseph Corré, the son of legendary designer Vivienne Westwood (whom I also love and explains her son's good taste tbh) and his now ex-wife in Soho, London in 1994.His wife, tired of seeing women dress in drab under garments--came up with an idea to start a lingerie store that was filled with colorful and fashion-forward lingerie. And bam! Now the brand has expanded to 30 countries around the world.

Visit their site!! Don't get a heart attack on the prices. I got a chance to marvel at their lingerie while visiting Harrod's in London and they are worth their price. Unique, sexy and high-quality.

But until I get to wear one of those dream lingerie, I will just be content with my Victoria Secret ones. At least they have famous models like Andriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel promoting their brand. *sigh* But still... Agent Provocateur... Wants...

The March Lollikpop Party

Hello hello! I don't post as often as I'd like but I'm rarely in front of the pc doing nothing these days. Hectic Masters Course. But what can I say? I love it! ^^

Anyway, this past Saturday was the monthly Lollikpop party. I'm in the organising group that hosts it. We had a lot of fun this time despite the technical problems that arose. Kpop's popularity is rising slowly but steadily and we're happy to even have the chance to hold parties like that.

So, I dressed up for the occasion, naturally.
My theme for the night was skulls. I wore the pink Skull blouse that I bought from Bershka the last time I went out with my friend.

I don't even need to tell anything about Bershka. They're the famous Spanish brand that is pretty much sold all around the world. I shop there often especially for my club clothes cause they are badass and affordable enough for me to buy constantly new stuff for my outings.

The point here is the earrings. I got them dirt cheap in the sales from Zic Zac, one of my favorite greek clothing stores. They have a great collection and sometimes they have their clothes made in Korea! A lot of their pieces are cute and feminine and that has led me to dubbing them, the Greek Liz Lisa (I should make a post about how amazing Liz Lisa is sometime)... Their site in English is HERE.

Skull bracelet also from Zic Zac. They are so cute!! *_* And to think when I was a kid I was teriffied by skulls but now I see them as a fashion accessory. OTL XD

Full outfit shot. High-heeled boots are from Vardas. (English Site: HERE) It's another Greek brand. I got those in an outing in the Brand new McArthur Glenn shopping center in Spata earlier this year. They are quite comfy for a few hours but, like many high-heeled shoes, they tire the feet out. Still, I can't imagine going to a club without heels. :P

Aaaand on to the party:

DJ console!

Meet the Lollikpop team members: Angeliki (We went to Korea together. Great trip and we hope to repeat it someday)

And Christos aka VJ Lamprokratis: He's the experienced one in the DJ-ing, journalism areas. We are like, teh noobs but we are doing our best. :D

I have this "ritual" of taking a photo of me and Angeliki at every party. Like a good luck charm hehe! ^^ :3

The super adorable bunny hair accesory that Angeliki bought in Korea. At one point we thought she lost it in the apartment in Seoul but we found it eventually. :P

And some photos of the club atmosphere:

And a bonus pic of Angeliki looking badass hell yeah.

Oh yes we also do dance covers of popular Kpop songs at the party. This time the highlight has to be the B.A.P.-Warrior dance cover:

As you can see, we are quite enthousiastic! ^^ I was the one filming this. Unfortunately the club lighting is crappy so these videos we shoot are never clear enough. :/

Well, w/e we had our fun. Next party is the first Saturday of April. Be there peeps! (For more info on the place and our activities visit: www.lollikpop.gr)

I am officially a master of the Japanese language! Har har!!!

Hey new post/old news!!! But neverthelesss new post finally! I didn't really know what title to put in so I'm gonna go with that... Speaking of Gonna Go...

I am so addicted to this song omg! OTL Gonna go gonna gonna go! I kept singing it in class today. Rainbow is a korean girl group and this is their 1st original japanese single! I like them a lot and I totally love their leader, Jaekyung (The lady with the red dress; OMG she is so beautiful!!! ;-;)

Anyway, this past Friday I went to the class in the morning and then I passed from the Greek-Japanese association to meet my teacher and get the N1 degree in my hands. I met with my mom and sis on the way. Sis came back from England to see us and participate in the carnival with her friends so we took the opportunity to go out, visit the shops and have a meal at TGI Friday's (I'm a regular there).

Naturally I dressed up but I hated every selca I took so no photos of the outfit. ><

So, when we reached the Association my teacher, Ms. Suzuki was so happy to see me that she burst out in tears. I am considered to be one of her most precious student and I love her very much. She's like a 2nd mom to me. We took a couple of photos as well.

Le me: Proud Owner of the Proficiency Degree in the Japanese Language. I can now teach it officially!

With Ms. Suzuki! ^^ I plan to visit the Association from time to time even now that I'm over with my japanese studies.

And then we walked around Kolonaki (the luxurious neighbourhood in downtown Athens) Sis saw this giant wooden marionette (Pinocchio) and pretended to be conversing with it. She's hilarious!

After the meal in Friday's. 2 sisters posing together. My blouse is from Zara. ^^

Mom and sis. She likes to pose all smily and stuff. Hahaha! ^^

Photobucket

And the random pic of the day. A fluffy cat near Syntagma. We saw her/him and my sister yelled "TAKE A PHOTO OF IT!" and I whipped my cam to take a photo. At the same time a squadron of tsoliades (greeks soldiers in traditional garbs) were passing by. My mom was "TAKE A PHOTO OF THEM". I couldn't hear my mom so I took the pic of the cat. My mom assumed I was embarrased to take a photo of the soldiers so she started laughing but I was confused and asked "Why? Wasn't I supposed to take a pic of the cat?". Ok I admit I'm slow when it comes to noticing guys etc. XD

Anyway, this weekend I was too absorbed playing video games. Namely, my sis got my Final Fantasy XIII-2 and me, being a HUGE FF nerd since 1997... well got lost in playing it. I think I want to play again... Right now...

I leave you with the FF XIII-2 theme song, New World by the Philippino diva Charice Pempengco! This tiny girl has an amazing voice! The original song is named Yakusoku no Basho and is sung in Japanese by Fukui Mai (she's great imo, look her up).

Rock feeling and on seeing friends after a long time

Yesterday I had a long day. I had classes during the noon and the buses weren't running at that time (don't ask, strikes here are like snow in the mountains during winter; they happen regularly and hinder people all the time). So, I walked to the metro station and I walked all the way to my school (around 30 minutes). The class was very interesting so it was worth it. History and the teachings of economic crises. (<3) People may find it boring but for me it combines two of my most favorite subjects: History and Economics...
Ah! I digress! I digress! Anyway, after classes were over me and my friends from the course walked a good 40 minutes to downtown Athens (Syntagma Square). While we were walking we also saw all the buildings that got burnt down during the riots last week. SMH at all the grunts who did it. Karma is a bitch and I hope it punishes you for vandalizing the property of other people. (and I digress again...)
After we reached Syntagma I chilled at Costa Coffee waiting for my good friend, Xenia to arrive. I hadn't seen her in ages and we made plans to meet and explore the shops. Yes, I know I should stop doing that already but as long as there's going to be sales I am going to buy stuff! EOS! Another 1 and a half hours walking around... I am amazed I din't drop dead from exhaustion!
Xenia and I pondered on how long it has been since we actually saw each other. Was it around October when we last met? I don't remember clearly but it was definately before December. You know the feelings you get when you meet with a friend that you have missed? It doubles the fun cause, face it, you never know when you'll meet again. Especially if it's a like-minded friend.
So, we had our fun and then parted ways. I came home late and not in the mood to update so I'm doing it now! ^^

I dressed up yesterday. Rock feeling. I have a lot of clothes of the casual rock style and I tend to wear them often. But fun thing is I don't listen to rock that much. I like classic rock and pop-rock but I hate metal. I am an rnb, pop and hip-hop chick. So you see me dressed in black, chains, chockers etc with all-black make-up but my mp3 plays songs like this one:

Or this one:

Walking paradox. But I can't help if I like the skulls and crosses etc. >< 1st song is from a Japanese duo that sings sweet songs (Tegomasu) and the 2nd from a korean duo that does hip-hop Supreme Team. FACT: I love male duos in almost every kind of music!

Here's yesterday's outfit btw:

Close ups

Tried the Dior white pencil. Not too visible I suppose. :P

Full shot:

I effin' love this picture cause the pose came out amazing and model-like. Now if only I didn't have that wide torso that makes me look fat and without a waist when I wear clothes... -.- I have a waist I swear.

I think the skirt-blouse combination came out great though! I don't remember tha name of the store I bought the blouse from (only that it was expensive) but the skirt is from Terranova. I have it in pink as well.

The back of the blouse is even more unique. XD

And some pics from the stores. I would have taken more if they allowed photographing inside the stores, if it was bright outside (which it wasn't as it already got dark when we started to walk around the shops) and if I bothered to try sth on a trying room.
So just 3 photos:

Found a cute dress in Zara which we wanted to show to one of our friends, Margarita. This is for you. Xenia asked me to censor her face. WAT? YOU DON'T LIKE MY MOUSE-DRAWN HEART? HDU IT'S PERFECT!!!11!

Another cute dress from Zara. Mind you we had to take photos like thieves cause they're not allowed ahaha! ^^' This kind of dress is adorable and very spring-like but I wonder how it' d look on me. I think girls with smaller boobs can rock this one better. Better than me anyway.

The Swarovski front window! THE BIG HEART PENDANT! WANT! *_* And afterwards it got dark, so no more photos... -.-

BUT OF COURSE... I couldn't NOT buy anything and with the upcoming Lollikpop party I need some new clothes for clubbing. I swear my clubbing wardrobe has expanded threefold since last year!!

Pink Skull tee from Bershka. It glitters as well but the camera couldn't capture it. I'll wear it with my black shorts. And high heel boots.

Also from Bershka, this cape is a steal! 15 euros on sale! :3 Maybe I'll wear it at the party as well and if I get hot I'll take it off. It reminds me of Gil RaIm's capes in Secret Garden (aka my no1 favorite tv series ever! Hint: It's korean :P)

Now, I don't know what my next update will be and when but I am glad I didn't get bored already. I have this nasty history of leaving blogs/journals etc with just a couple of entries. Hopefully this one is different! Ciao! ;P

Happy News and Sunday morning visit

First the happy news!!

I PASSED MY N1 JAPANESE EXAM! Yes! N1! The highest level of the Japanese language examinations!!! HELL TO THE YEAH! *jams invisible guitar* That means that not only am I qualified to teach the language officially now but I can also find a job in Japan easier! Well, we'll see about that! ^^ (I admit I want to live there for the awesome clothes they have and the food /shallowreasonisshallow... Lol jk! I just think it would be interesting to live there for a couple of years and experience the culture.)

Now, I will resume studying korean. Self-study is difficult but I don't have the time to give my full attention to another language until I finish my master course.

Anyway, today the day was sunny (yet still cold) so me & mom went to visit some relatives that live nearby. And by nearby I mean 5 minutes on foot. XD I got to see my little cousins that I haven't seen since this summer.

Naturally, I took the opportunity to dress up...

I took the opportunity to wear the gray pants I bought from BSB. Top and cardigan are from Zara while the boots are... I forgot from where. I have them for a long time but I rarely wear them and they are in top notch condition. Why don't I wear them more often though? They're super comfy. Stupid me... :P

And then here's my Yumetenbou leopard coat. :P I got it online of course since Yumetenbou is a japanese store. I like gyaru fashion thought I can't see myself as one mainly because I look like an old witch with tons of make up on. I prefer a milder, more natural style of makeup. Clothing wise though I can say I am inspired by gyaru.

Face close up. Today I wore lighter make up. Brown eye pencil by Shiseido, golden eye shadow, lip balm and blusher by Etude House (a korean brand not found in Greece). Also with the Etude House foundation my skin looks so clear! I should order some more from them from Yesstyle. The one's I currently have I bought in Korea.

Muahahaha I kinda look like a perv here! :P

Point: the hood has bear ears!!! Isn't it cute? You'll never find something like this in Greece!

Haha I look like a kid here! XD

And then here are my cousins! This is the boy. ISN'T HE TOO PRETTY TO BE ONE? He's prettier than the girls! 3 years old and with infinite amounts of energy! XD His name is Vaggelis!

And the girl! She will be 6 next week and her name's Eleni. She's also a very beautiful girl but she was sick today hence the super pale face. My mom... well that's my mom and she looks cute. She was reading a book to Eleni. :P

And since it's the carnival season look who we have here in a wig and his mom's sunglasses. OMFG He's adorable and hilarious. And does aegyo (=acting cute in korean) better than a girl!

Watch out! He's a hobo street musician!!! XD He actually played some chords in the guitar smoothly. Maybe he'll be a rock star? I know that he'll definately have girls come after him when he grows up!

And Eleni is looking like a doll even with this messy wig. I AM SO BLESSED TO HAVE SUCH PRETTY COUSINS! T^T

Anyway today was fun. Kids can be tiring though. Tomorrow starts the new semester at school. I wonder what kind of new professors I'll get. ^^

Well, bye for now!
